Gugma = Love

We want to join forces to improve the future of neglected children in the city of Cagayan de Oro in the south of the Philippines. For this purpose, "Gugma Street Kids e.V." in Munich works hand in hand with the Philippine organization "Gugma Sa Kabataan". While the German non-profit association primarily raises funds and the Philippine non-profit Incorporation takes care of the children, we see ourselves as a unit "Gugma", which means love.

The beginnings of Gugma

Gugma was founded in 1994 under the name "Balay sa Gugma - Street Children Project" as a German association and supported the organization of the same name in Cagayan
