We are happy about helping hands!

The help of international volunteers has become an essential element of Gugma's work in recent years.

The volunteers can take on a variety of tasks and gain valuable experience for themselves.

Since the donations we get are fully used for the sake of the children, we are helas not able to pay anything for the work of our volunteers.

However, there is free food in the center and many grateful children's eyes. Our on-site employees will help you finding an accommodation and with other organizational matters.

Here are some possible tasks for volunteers:

  • Accompanying the children to the hospital for medical/dental care

  • Weekly monitoring of children at school to determine academic needs and achievement

  • Tutoring children who need help in English, mathematics and science

  • Visiting the children who are imprisoned in the city jail

  • Representing the organization to governmental and non-governmental organizations for advocacy

  • Completion of other tasks as needed
